Back from Cabo

We had such a fantastic time again in Cabo. If you ever get the opportunity to visit the area, you should definitely take it. This is a photo of El Arco in Cabo San Lucas - not to sound corny - but the best word I can find to describe the appearance and feeling you get when looking at it, is majestic.

ma·jes·tic /məˈdʒɛstɪk/ characterized by or possessing majesty; of lofty dignity or imposing aspect; stately; grand.

It is an amazing place and worth the visit!

Some activities that I recommend:

CaboRey Sunset Dinner Cruise - The boat takes you out into the sea, right up to El Arco - also known as Land's End - around the arch to the Pacific Ocean and then back to the Sea of Cortez. It was a wonderful experience, and the highlight of our trip. We saw a school of 30-40 dolphins jumping up out of the water all throughout the harbor in Cabo San Lucas. Our waiter at dinner said that he thought that had gotten stuck or lost, because they never spend that much time in the area - they typically just pass through. In addition to dolphins, we saw sea lions sunning themselves on some of the large boulders near El Arco. If you visit the area Oct-Mar it is quite possible that you will see whales - as they migrate to the southern region of the Pacific in the colder months.

Glass Bottom Boat Water Taxi - If you decide against the dinner cruise, at least take the glass bottom boat tour out to El Arco. It takes you right up to the arch, you will get a close encounter with the "window to the Pacific" and you will see a plethora of colorful fish through the bottom of the boat. It's a very cool experience.

Cabo Wabo Cantina - Unless you just despise Sammy Hagar. I'm not a huge Van Halen fan, nor a Sammy fan, but I think his restaurant and business is pretty neat. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. Not to mention you can buy a bottle of premium tequila in the Cabo Wabo gift shop for around $380 pesos. (this one if for my husband!)

Those are just a few of my recommendations. If you'd like more info on the area, I'd be more than happy to shoot you and email back - just send me a message.
